Um, Mostly, Clean Eating Recipes

Here's the deal, diet and exercise are the two areas in my family's life that need improvement.  We all know it.  We go through phases of where we are very good and times when we are not so good...

Ideally, I would make all of our meals from scratch, pack my daughter's lunch every day, and our family would go for a run every evening.  Reality is does not meet the ideal.

I will share our journey back to a healthier lifestyle on this blog.  Please share with me where you struggle.  Together, we are not alone, and we can raise each other up.

This is my commitment to getting back to a healthier lifestyle.

• Much more family exercise.  
• Much more cooking and planning meals ahead of time.  
• Healthy and flavorful meals that my family will love. 

I will share the recipes that are a hit and milestones as we make them.
 
I will be incorporating Cooking Light's 12 Healthy Habits Program because you make one change per month and it is focused on changing lifestyle rather than "dieting".  Even though it starts on January 1st, I am starting on September 1st.  Any post I make that relates to the Healthy Habits Program, I will label as such and include a link to Cooking Light's program.

I have several yummy sounding healthy recipes on my Pinterest board "Healthy Eating".  As I try their recipes, I will review them, and give you links to the original recipes.  Please let me know what you think.
